The Port

In addition to excellent cuisine, the restaurant inspires with love for the detail, with a modern, stylish ambience and the well-known, fantastic view of the Hamburg harbour and the Landungsbrücken.

We take the name "Port" literally. Wooden walls decorated with rivets, old steering wheels and model ships tell the story of the harbour of Hamburg and invite you to discover it. Through collector's items and galleon figures we create a connection to seafaring and our own decades of history. The cosy charm of our restaurant remains intact and now presents itself with a modern, unmistakable look: telescope lamps, handmade wall tiles, wood-clad details and petroleum-coloured velvet chairs let you forget everyday life and immerse yourself in the relaxed, hanseatic atmosphere. Find your favourite spot in our light-filled room with a view of the Hamburg harbour and Landungsbrücken. In the evening our cosy bar area invites you to linger in an intimate atmosphere. Here we serve freshly tapped drinks and cocktails as well as small night snacks. Our experienced, warm-hearted team will make you feel comfortable and make your Port visit unforgettable.

The menu was also adapted to the new concept. In future, both locals and Hamburg lovers can now enjoy high-quality grilled specialities. Doesn't the grilled Faroese salmon filet or dry aged Côte de Boeuf make your mouth water? At Port you can also experience the culinary delights of the harbour, as newly interpreted North German dishes such as Hamburg pannfish or duck lobscouse have also found its important place on our new menu.

On our summer terrace we serve a variety of cakes and ice cream creations with Luicella's Ice Cream in addition to the unique view of the Elbphilharmonie and the Hamburg harbour. Refreshing drinks under the shady canopy of leaves perfectly round off the offer on hot summer days. We have also thought about the fresh harbour breeze - on cooler days our terrace invites you to linger thanks to our heated benches.

Your special celebrations such as birthdays and anniversaries can also be celebrated in our "Little Port" in the future. It is separated from the rest of the seating area and offers room for 50 people. Here you can enjoy the view of the Landungsbrücken and the unique view of passing ships. In addition the "Little Port" inspires next to the brass-coloured community table in the middle of the room with its tiled ceiling, which gives the impression that a piece of history has been uncovered.
