Welcome on board

What last year still had to take place full of challenges, this year almost routinely intervened in the planning for the start of apprenticeship at the Hotel Hafen Hamburg: The welcome event and orientation days began under strict Corona requirements and prior tests at the hotel. However, there was one thing in common with the previous years - and that was the good mood among our new protégés as well as the entire team of the Hotel Hafen Hamburg. Be it at the presentation of the individual departments with their managers or at the get-together for dinner. You can tell that all the apprentices, dual students and staff are looking forward to the time ahead and want to get started together.

Of the total of 15 new trainees and dual students, three will start their apprenticeship as hotel specialists, three as cooks and one as a dual student at the Hotel Hafen Hamburg. In our sister hotel Empire Riverside Hotel, there are also three prospective hotel specialists, two chefs, one restaurant specialist and one dual student.

We are especially proud to be able to inspire so many young talents for the hotel industry at this time and are sure that all of them will go their very best way.

For the next three years, we wish our new recruits many great experiences, exciting insights and most importantly: lots of fun and joy and a good start to their professional lives.
