Hotel Hafen Hamburg's donation to ReBBZ Altona
We recently had the opportunity to go on a special trip. Our destination: the ReBBZ Altona school in Carsten-Rehder-Straße. Our mission: to deliver a donation from the proceeds of this year's tombola at our summer staff party. This school, which offers a space for creativity, crafts, music, relaxation and education, is one of 13 regional education centres in Hamburg.

Our journey began early on Friday morning when we entered the school gates. We were immediately greeted by the energy and enthusiasm of the pupils in their colourful common room. The walls were adorned with artwork created by the little artists themselves. The whole school radiated a zest for life.

During our visit, we had the pleasure of attending a small assembly where we presented our donation. The donation was accepted with joy and gratitude and we knew that our raffle proceeds were in the best hands and would help to promote education and creativity in this unique school.
Through the pupils and teachers, we learnt more about the school's many activities. Pupils have the opportunity to learn craft skills, make music and relax. It was inspiring to see how this school creates a space where children's potential can blossom.

At the end of our visit, we were rewarded with a sweet treat. The pupils had prepared delicious banana bread and apple crumble, and they warmly invited us to sit down and enjoy. These treats were not only a treat for the taste buds, but also a testament to the practical skills the students had learnt at school.
Our visit was a reminder of the importance of supporting and investing in the education and development of our young generation. At a time when collaboration and social engagement are of great importance, we hope that you will also be inspired to get involved in projects in your community. Together we can create a world where children have the opportunity to realise their dreams.
We look forward to more opportunities in the future where we can do good and to taking you with us on this inspiring journey.
